Hi, My name is Brenda, and I'm an addict, a jewelry addict that is. Since being introduced to shiny things as a small child, I have always been fascinated by the way they were constructed. Using found telephone wire in my teens, I spent many hours constructing rings and bracelets and necklaces as well as macrame and other crafts of the 60's and 70's. (Oops, I'm showing my age!)
Then I began collecting - quality gold and gemstone jewelry created by designers. Discovering Native American silver in the 80's and 90's, I put my "real" jewelry aside and began wearing silver. Then about six years ago I discovered beads - I have been lost ever since.
After the beads came wire wrapping, which I continue to learn to this day. It is a never-ending quest to learn everything I can about this age-old craft.
Feel free to talk about what you might see here or ask any questions that arise...I love to talk about my addiction!
